1. Processing of Personal Data
Cervis processes personal data as follows:
- Checking the availability of internet connections
- Creating and sending the offer
- Managing, archiving, and billing in the customer database
- Transmitting the address and contact details for installation
For this, we need at least the following information from you:
Company name, contact details of the responsible person, installation address (street, postal code, and city), payment information (IBAN, BIC, bank, and any different addresses), email address, and phone number.
The email address is required for sending the offer and confirmation, for regular updates regarding billing, and for further communication.
Payment information is necessary for processing payments for our product. Our payment processing partners handle essential billing data for processing payments and managing potential refunds. We also process some of this billing information ourselves (e.g., contract date, full credit card holder name, parts of your credit card number, expiration date) when recurring payments occur or if you directly provide us with payment information.
Information to prevent payment fraud: To prevent fraudulent payments for services, personal data (e.g., email address) may be verified by our payment fraud management partners. A payment method deemed high risk may be declined.
If we offer a chatbot on our website and you use it to contact us through our websites, we may collect device information and IP addresses alongside processing your contact details. However, this information will not be further utilized and, if at all, will only be stored by tools required for the operation of the bot.
2. Reasons for Processing Personal Data
The processing and use of personal data occur only when necessary to fulfill our contract with you, as detailed in our general terms and conditions.
In summary, we primarily use this data to:
- Determine which internet connections are available, possible, and necessary to provide you with reliable internet.
- Create and send the offer
- For on-site installation at your location
